We just finished our production of Frozen Jr. and as always I am so proud of our performers. While Frozen is an obviously exciting choice for a community theater, there are a few aspects of it that are a definite challenge to pull off on a smaller budget. There’s snow, an on-stage transformation, and puppetry – all of which are optional but we felt were necessary to creating the “magic” the show requires. We hit a few snags costume-wise on this one thanks to some shipping losses from China but we had a rockstar mama that whipped out a transformation dress for Elsa that was out of this world amazing. Mama’s got skills. This was also a special show because it was the first one I had a child in! My oldest made her big stage debut and it was not without the drama… but that’s another stressful story all together. #momlife
