This centerpiece is always a hit and is an easy DIY addition to your party. Here’s a list of what you’ll need:
- A flat of wheat grass
- Thick ribbon
- Hot glue gun
- Stuffed animal
- Gerber daisies
- Onion grass
- Thistles
- Pointed flower stem tubes
First, glue the thick ribbon around the base of the wheat grass.
Place your cute jungle stuffed animal in the center of the wheat grass.
Fill your stem tubes 3/4 of the way with water.
Cut the stems off of the gerber daisies, lemon grass and thistles and insert them into the water-filled stem tubes.
Insert the daisies evenly around the stuffed animal, then follow with the lemongrass and the thistles to add some dimension among the grass.
That’s it! You can use a ton of different animals depending on how many tables you have. We’ve used a Lion, Elephant, Monkey, Giraffe, Zebra, and Tiger. All were super cute, you can’t go wrong!
Another bonus to this centerpiece is that you can use the wheat grass after the party in smoothies or with your juicer, plus you can send the stuffed animal home with your guest of honor.
