I was totally suckered into a Facebook ad for a new subscription called Bless Box. I received my first box this week and I’m pretty glad that I clicked on that ad! Bless Box is a monthly subscription containing items from the beauty, health and food categories. It’s price tag of $29.99 plus $7.50 shipping is definitely more up there than other beauty boxes but I like that you seem to get more full-sized and travel-sized items instead of mostly samples.
This box included: Colourpop Ultra Matte Lipstick, Colourpop Jinxie Super Shock Shadow, Maybelline EyeStudio Precise Micro Pencil, Maybelline Lasting Drama Waterproof Pencil, dpHUE Argan Oil, Soap & Glory Hand Cream, GOSMILE Teeth Whitening Gel, Kopari Rose Toner, Differen Gel, Body Shop Body Butter, Primal Kitchen Dark Chocolate Almond bar, Portland Bee Balm, a voucher for a facial at Aveda, and some postcards and stickers.
I love a few items from this box which makes it totally worth it for me. The Maybelline EyeStudio Precise Micro Pencil is awesome. I don’t know why I didn’t look for a tiny eyebrow pencil sooner! Another favorite is the Soap & Glory Hand Cream. It smells amazing and fells so soft on my hands. The Colourpop Jinxie Super Shock Shadow came in gold and I’ve been wearing it almost every day. It’s super soft and smooth and feels almost like a cream when I use my finger to apply.
There were a few misses for me. While I appreciate the full size Differen Gel, I’m breastfeeding so I can’t use it for a while. The Primal Kitchen Dark Chocolate Almond bar was included because it was a subscriber favorite according to the insert but I really didn’t like it. Lastly, I tried to like the Colourpop lipstick but it’s too hard for this low-maintenance makeup girl to apply. It’d be great for someone with more makeup skills though because that stuff is hard to get off! All in all, I loved getting my Bless Box and I’m looking forward to seeing what comes next month 🙂
