Colorful, Rustic Bridal Shower

With the Summer sun already heating things up here in California, I thought I’d share this rustic and colorful bridal shower I co-hosted for my college roommate.  The table set up was easy. We bought burlap from our local fabric store and draped 2 sheets per table over a white table cloth and added a thick white ribbon as a runner. We used white cloth napkins with lace trim and wrapped them with burlap ribbon and a piece of twine.

For refreshments we had a mimosa bar with different juice options to mix with champagne as well as citrus infused water with cut up lemons and oranges.

My friend and co-host painted these cute pink and orange letters and bought matching pom poms to add color here and there- such as under the umbrellas, on the fireplace, on the favor table… everywhere!

We had all of the guests bring a homemade dessert along with the recipe and they were given a container with their name on it to take home a sampling of the goodies. This was a really fun touch not to mention, very tasty.
