Alice in Wonderland Party

Alice in Wonderland Party

What could be more fun than an Alice in Wonderland party? The colors, the characters, Alice has it all! For my daughter’s first birthday party we invited our guests to ONEderland and it turned out to be cuter than I imagined.

I found Wonderland Party Props on Pinterest and ordered their party decor package. It came with life-sized wood cutouts and all of the table decorations.

I love how they did an eclectic mix of teapots, teacups, ivy-covered mushrooms and Wonderland characters on the main table.

The little ones really seemed to enjoy looking at (and trying to grab) everything. I added the multi-colored paper lanterns above the main table for some extra flair.

For our entryway, we welcomed our guests with a Wonderland sign and a bouquet of red roses featuring some of the flower faces from the movie. I found the template to this amazingly cute idea on Pinterest. Click here for the free template from Disney!

Since we were expecting over a dozen babies at this party, I set up little stations that would be protected from the sun. Under one tent I had a play mat and pen area set up with some toys. I added balloons into the top of the tent and the babies loved looking at all of the colors.

The other station had an inflatable pool that I filled with balls. The kids really loved playing in that as well and behind both the play mat and ball pit I added colorful pinwheels.

Here are links to the inflatable pool, balls, play yard and play mat I bought.  All of which I love and still use a ton since the party. I used 300 balls to cover the bottom of the pool.

For favors we gave out Cheshire Cat candy apples that were as tasty as the were cute! To make the labels on top, we used Avery labels and a scalloped punch with glitter-pink paper.
